About Lune Spark
We are Lune Spark.
Lune Spark is a multi-discipline creative arts center with locations in Apex, Chapel Hill, and Holly Springs, NC. We run dedicated weekly programs in fine arts, music, drama, dance, digital art, filmmaking, and personal development - for students age 4 through adult.
Every program is built on the same model: a working artist as instructor, a small group of students, and a curriculum that builds real skills quarter by quarter. Not projects of the week. Not drop-in chaos. A real arc.
We opened our flagship center in Apex in 2018 and have grown to serve hundreds of families across the Triangle.

Mastery beats dabbling.
Most arts programs in America are designed around one art form, taught in 60-minute weekly chunks, in someone's basement or garage. We built a different model - a multi-discipline creative arts center, with one front door, seven departments, and a year-round curriculum. The Lune Spark Model is built on four ideas:
One front door for everything creative.
Class, camp, workshop, birthday, summer - one center, one schedule, one bill.
Working artists as instructors.
Every department lead is a professional in their field - not a hobbyist with a Pinterest board.

Perform, screen, or hang your work. End of year: Grand Annual Show at the Halle Cultural Arts Center.
Every August
Once every year. Every art form. Five hundred seats. One sold-out auditorium.
Every August, our best work - every department, every center - goes onstage at the Halle Cultural Arts Center in Apex. Dance pieces, drama scenes, live music, a gallery walk of student visual art, and a screening of the year's best student films. Families come from all three centers. The room fills up. The lights go down. Kids who started the year as "my mom signed me up" walk out as performers.
Tickets are free for Lune Spark families. Public seats go on sale every July.

Every Lune Spark center is purpose-built for creative arts education - spacious rooms, modern furniture, natural light, washable surfaces, modern equipment, instrument storage, and dedicated rooms for music, drama, dance, and visual arts.

Every department is run by a working professional - gallery-shown painters, gigging musicians, produced filmmakers. Pick one to focus on, or sample several with a multi-class membership.

Lune Spark classes run year-round in small groups. Every student is assessed quarterly and moves at their own pace through the Try It - Gain Mastery - Showcase It arc.

- 50-minute weekly classes, year-round (50 weeks a year).
- Group size
- Small (typically 6-10 students), grouped by age and level.
- Membership
- Month-to-month | sibling discount applied automatically.
- Commitment
- Month-to-month. Pause anytime. Cancel anytime. Your spot is held when you pause.
- Try first
- Every new family starts with a class. No commitment until the student says yes.
- Assessments
- Quarterly skill assessments. Level-up certificates. Each student is assessed for readiness for the next level, not just shuffled sideways.
